2011 Contests

  • Happy Thanksgiving, Gears! Contest

    • Status: Finished

    • Starts/Ends: Started on November 24, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) and ended till November 27, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time).


    • Summary: "A small contest. Create a Gears drawing that represents the Thanksgiving holiday and win some Xbox 360 points!"


  • Original Character Contest

    • Status: Finished

    • Starts/Ends: Started on July 1, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) and ended till August 6, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time)


    • Summary: "Do you love creating original characters within the universe of Gears of War? Then this is definitely the contest for you! You will be able to win in one of the 3 winning places if you draw out the best fan-made character that'll blow the other characters away! Not only that but you can also beat down others to take one winning spot by writing out the best original character that'll make us want to beg for more! Do you think your original character can take on this epic battle? Then enter this contest and win yourself some great prizes, such as the Limited Edition Gears of War 3 T-Shirt and so much more! Anyone who is a member of the club/group may enter this contest! Good luck and may the best character win!"


  • Group Avatar Contest

    • Status: Finished

    • Starts/Ends: Started on May 3, 2011 at 4:44 p.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) and ended till June 5, 2011 at (time n/a)


    • Summary: "We need our members help to create a new Group Avatar! We ask that you submit one entry per person! Please submit your work to the Contest folder! The image can be made on Photoshop, GIMP, MS Paint, etc. It can be animated like ours is now, or not! Whatever you think is good, and would be Gears of War related of course, and suitable for the group! The image size required is 100 x 50!"


  • March 2011 Art Contest

    • Status: Finished

    • Starts/Ends: ??? and ended till April 9, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. MDT (Mountain Daylight Time)


    • Summary: "This art contest is going to be based solely on Gears Of War 3, an upcoming and final installment of the Gears Of War franchise, set to release on September 20, 2011. What this contest expects from you is to give us the most interesting, spectacular, and well-designed artwork that you can come up with! Remember, though, it has to be based on Gears Of War 3 only, and anyone is able to participate, whether it's members or non-members!"



2010 Contests

  • Halloween 2010 Contest

    • Summary: "September has only 1 1/2 weeks left until October comes around the corner, you guys, and you know what that means, don't ya? You guessed it: Halloween! Yep, with the holiday soon coming up and everyone preparing for the holiday, it's time to show how much we love to celebrate this event and how much we love to torment the Gears of War universe by exposing them with our traditions! Enter this contest and show how much you love Halloween!... oh, and GOW, of course."



2009 Contests

  • Favorite Character Contest

    • Status: Finished

    • Dated From-To: June 15, 2009 - July 15, 2009


    • Summary: "Do you always like to draw Marcus beating up a bunch of nasty locusts with his lancer, or do you like to draw Baird getting slapped at by a girl he's been trying to have his way with? Even if you do, do you feel like your drawing can win you some really neat prizes? Well then, look no further, my fellow Gearheads, because this is the contest for you! In this month's contest, you'll be able to draw any of your favorite character(s) from the Gears of War series! So gear up, soldier, and grab your weapons, because this contest is going to be one hell of a battle!"
